Ruiz, even at this advanced age has too much ring smarts for David Haye. Consider Ruiz's spoiling style, his world experience and his punching power we can likely expect a TKO around rd 9.

This is not a joke post. Haye will have to garner some kind of game plan that I havent seen from hit yet. Ruiz is a serious spoiler in this fight and is not unaccustomed to fighting big fights on the road. His style will frustrate and tire out haye. Haye has never fought from the grasp like this. Expect him to tire and take too many shots and the ref calls it in rd 9.

Freaking ridiculous claim! He doesn't have 1 KO over an opponent higher than C class.

My answer to your comment: :nut

    Now, my comment:

Despite what Ruiz is known for, this should be a much better fight than the Haye-Valuev thing.

They both will be way more active (yes, even Ruiz is more active than Valuev..) and Haye won't be as cautious as he was.

    Haye UD or late tko.

Ruiz should not be taken lightly, no doubt. He is tough to beat for anyone.
I still feel Haye have too much skills. ANd, he'll be home too...

Put it this way, if Haye loses you can bet there will be bigger upsets this year. I don't think he will, but I think Ruiz has a legitimate chance

We know Ruiz is better than faded Barrett by a long shot. We know haye has only ever faced Valuev a true heavy in one of the worst title fights in heavyweight history. We know Haye likes to move and avoid big shots. Haye will likely be the heaviest of his career.

We know John Ruiz likes to fight from the grasp, wrestle and make it ugly and rough, tiring on the inside. Haye will not be able to deal with this over the course of the fight.

haye does not go balls out anymore and this plays right into Ruiz style/gameplan. Do not under estimate Ruiz!!

The title is funny. Maybe: I THINK Ruiz will beat Haye could prevent a lot of people from laughing at you and bumping this later...

    too late...

Ruiz is not to be underestimated. But Haye's speed and improved footwork against an ageing, more aggressive Ruiz will end up with - hehe - the best American in the heavy division ending up on the seat of his pants.

Ruiz is staggeringly underrated, but Haye is simply a different class. Haye by stoppage in the mid-rounds.

Ruiz is to Haye what Clottey will be to Pac, a tough fighter, but clearly a warm up for bigger things.

I call em like I see em. This to me is a stylistic problem for Haye. Add in his lack of a great trainer to formulate a proper game plan and you will have ruiz making this an ugly inside foul ridden fight.

Haye will wear down and fade late allowing the much more experienced Ruiz to bust him up on way to a TKO stoppage.
