What you say is possible, but I think David Haye will be the victor. I figure he will win by a decision in a tough fight. Haye has the speed and power to get things done, but Ruiz has that damn style that no one wants to face. John Ruiz has only been stopped once in his eight losses and that was to the extremely hard hitting, David Tua. Ruiz was caught quick and never got into the fight. Don't expect that to happen in the Haye fight. It should be good work for the developing Haye and I hope to see it.

Either Haye knocks him out quickly, in under 3 rounds, or it will get a long and boring night with lots of clinching, and possibly one or the other surprising knockdown. Depends on what Ruiz has left, he is not exactly young. I have a feeling that Ruiz will score some good shots, but doesn't have the power anymore to keep Haye down. If he scores a KD, Haye will hold or run to get out of the round, and manage to do so.

This fight will show a lot if Haye comes even close to his expectations at heavy. But without fighting a hardheaded foe like Sam Peter, we still will not know what potential he has.

haye ko in the first 6 rounds. ruiz has never been anything special, and the only other fighter he will have faced who hits harder then haye ko'd him in 20 odd seconds.

I can't see Ruiz KO'ing Haye, but I can see him keeping Haye out of his comfort zone and getting a decision.

I can also see Haye dropping Ruiz with a counter left...even as much as I dislike Haye, an unproven braggart who is being spoon fed HW title shots he has not earned.

Haye and Mayweather should go on a Lecture Circut to tell everyone how amazing they are.

    But I digress...

    No, he won't.

I expect a tough fight but Haye will grind him down to a clear UD or late TKO.

Ruiz does have great experience, durability, stamina, hunger and a spoiler frustating style going for him.

Haye has power, speed, hunger, better skills, youth and talent on his side.

I see this fight as a very hard one for Haye, as tough as Valuev at least. Haye will need to be in top shape to win, but everything being accordingly on fight night, it's a 65/35 fight in favor of Haye.

Not that he'll lose anyway but this hugging style will make it tough since Haye doesn't fight on the inside and waits too long to throw meaningful shots.
