that still doesn't make him the poster boy for corruption in the sport. what about jose sulaiman, don king, even antonio margarito? yet john ruiz is the poster boy? no he isn't. that's a bit much. I don't think he should be in children's books on the basis that he sucks and he has sucked for a long time but your assertion that he's the poster boy for boxing corruption is excessive
Ya know what......**** everybody:nono Who do ya'll think Ruiz learned his tactics from.....****ing Holyfield, Lewis, Bowe, and the late 80s pretenders, thats who. He simply watched tons of tape, developed his EXCELLENT jab, and worked on his almost impeccable balance and perfected the ART of the clinch. He didn't use it as an exclusively defensive tactic, which we all know it takes two to tango, and he supplemented his lack of power with it as a strategy. Yeah, it was ****ing boring, but it got results, moreso than any other mexican fighter in the history of HW boxing. Deal with it.:deal
I'm from South Chicago....if your'e brown and got an accent, your a mexican until proven otherwise. Ask Fast Fres, he'll tell ya.:good
