Everybody here will say Ryder, but sweet hands would give him a schooling, and it would be funny to watch

Why would it be funny? Caleb Plant is a grade A scumbag and one of the most unlikable pieces of garbage in the sport and John Ryder is one of the nicest easiest to root for guys? What kind of warped reasoning on your part would provoke such a reaction?

    Also, you're wrong.

Because provided Plant actually schooled him, it would sink into certain peoples minds how good Canelo actually is, and because almost everyone including yourself hates Plant.

This would be Plants first southpaw opponent. That might make it an interesting bout

So, you're a contrarian for the sake of being a contrarian. Even if that means you root for someone who ruthlessly exploited the death of his own daughter that he didn't give a damn about, to win.

At this point it's pretty ****ing obvious people know how good Canelo is, Canelo has already beaten Callum Smith better than John Ryder did. So we already have a measuring stick. Plant beating Ryder or vice versa, will prove absolutely nothing to no one. Because most people don't think like that, look at Rolls vs Berlanga, to only a select few did that raise GGG's stock. And let's be honest, do you really think John if he fought Plant here would get the nod anyway? Absolutely not.

Plant wins 8 of the first 10 rounds, the Ryder wins 11 and 12

It's not that deep but as usual you're overemotional. I do like Caleb Plant as a fighter and not because he gets a lot of hate. I pointed that out as a reason why it’s quite humorous if he were to win it. Plant could certainly be a douche bag outside of the ring but hey, he's not drinking himself silly or beating women and dogs because he was denied sex and unlike a certain someone we both know
    Fair point

Yeah don’t see this being competitive at all.. Styles makes fights and Plant will bore this one out with his jab and move routine.

    I see this happening.

Plant gets of an early lead that gets his hand raised after a late rally from Ryder.
A 10 rounder suits Plant more aswell.
But I didnt like that conversation mid fight with Canelo, that was weak stuff.

I feel that’s a huge reason Canelo is up 4-0 before the bell rings against all of his recent and future potential opponents. Fighters are ok with just being competitive with Canelo and not actually winning. I felt that same energy when he fought Danny Jacobs. Danny was just satisfied with some saying it was a close fight but there was points where he could have actually turned the notch up and he didn’t because he didn’t want to get KO’d. So the whole fight Canelo just coasted without actually going into a second gear.

There’s only like 3 fighters around those divisions that would give it their all to win no matter what even if it means getting KO’d in the process of trying.

Ryder squeaked by a fading Jacobs. I think Plant outboxes and out skills him to a UD

GGG ain’t garbage & he is one of those guys who won’t go for the KO versus Canelo.
Even though he knows that’s what it will take to WIN against him.

    it’s easy to say,
much more difficult if it was actually us in the Ring risking it all to get KTFO.

    Sweet hands UD.
Also gets in a “Sucker Slap “at the presser.
