Ryder beats him up, Munguia wins a dubious split decision.

great fight, munguia showed lots of grit and determination to pull it out vs Sergey. He had moments where he boxed effectively and used his jab and took initiative and he needs to stick to this. However, there were moments in the fight where Munguia looked exhausted and discouraged especially after 9 or 10 before getting a late second wind and taking the fight on my card narrowly.

Ryder is tough and presses but is limited in skill but like Sergey and T Johnson will likely crowd Munguia and take away his ability to throw at a comfortable range that he needs and smother him while taking advantage of his vulnerabilities inside. I predict a close and controversial decision in either direction

Good matchup, but Jaime is too much. He will win a hard fought decision most likely.

I question how much Ryder has left in the tank after the series of gruelling bouts he has been through. I suspect this will be closer than people think.

You would think at 26 years old and with his record, Munguia would have had his signature fight by now. Still waiting.

my bad, super middle, so 168.

He **** of Oscar? Cause last thing he needs is a granite chin slugger like Ryder.

Not a bad fight for the mong. I'm glad he's gone from tax drivers to proper litmus tests. If he beats Ryder he's worth a vacant title or something

Is this actually true? There’s no way Munguia will fight John Ryder. Ryder is unknown in North America, well I mean they don’t really rate him, and Munguia likely gets beaten.

There was talk of Munguia against Berlanga. That would make more sense as Munguia would beat Berlanga and it’s a much bigger fight.

I don’t know why Munguia would fight Ryder to be honest, even with the odds stacked in his favour.
