@McGrain @Greg Price99 if it’s a draw we both we get a 48 hour ban. I’d rather us both suffer than neither of us .
My bookmaker currently gives more chances for Ryder to win by KO than by decision. Alvarez By KO or TKO or DQ 1.30 Ryder By KO or TKO or DQ 19.00 Alvarez Decision or Technical Decision 3.00 Ryder Decision or Technical Decision 21.00 Draw or Technical Draw 23.00
Records against common opponents: Canelo 4 - 0, Ryder 1 - 3, with the only Canelo victim that Ryder has also been able to beat being Jacobs. That tells me all I need to know about the outcome of this fight.
Canelo said he would quit if he loses the fight. Huge dunk on Ryder which makes me vote for Ryder to beat him. That said I think there is also the fact that if he loses to Ryder, it means his star power will be either heavily reduced or gone. That means avoiding Benavidez will become next to impossible because his star power has been the only thing stopping that match from happening. Would Canelo actually quit boxing just to avoid Benavidez? I dunno, but I wouldn't put it past him considering others have done similar things like Bowe quitting boxing rather than face Lewis.
I like Ryder he is not a bad boxer but I don’t see him beating Canelo and certainly not in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The only way he can win is to knock Canelo out which I am not sure is possible.
Canelo has striked the southpaw with with devating counters in he past , see Trout and Saunders. Ryder is the type of guy to make Canelo look great again
The only way it can happen is if Ryder who is a good boxer knocks out Canelo which I am not sure is even possible.
Ryder beat Callum Smith and was robbed by his own promoter to make the Canelo fight, so it doesn’t really
