he might look okay for 2-3 rounds but even a canelo who is on the start of the slide will easily dominate him by mid to late rounds.
I watched the Blackwell fight last night skipped to the last 2 rounds. Definitely a legit stoppage for me. I can see the argument for letting him go on too but he was genuinely rattled there and not defending himself properly. I'd have let it go on for another flurry or two but he wasn't looking clever in there.
Sure, he was shook up, but he was riding it out, no pun intended. Also, this is Nick Blackwell we're talking about, not necessarily Beterbiev in there wailing on him.
Well if your willing to do a proper bet then Ryder is +1050 so if Canelo wins you get $100 but if Ryder wins then you pay $1,150. Just saying
Mate he was gone, at least he looked it to me. One single punch started it all for for Blackwell and stiffened Ryder up whether he's a noted puncher or not and it was followed it up with several more that were just as hard and unanswered. I'll be honest if I was Howard Foster I would have let it go on another flurry or two. I've just watched it again there and Ryder falls into Foster when he steps in and his legs look like Eubank Jr's vs Smith. I get the argument about early stoppage because it sort of was but I honestly think Foster just saved him from a real battering and damaging end to the fight in that particular case.
I bet 10% of my bankroll on Canelo via decision @3.75 odds. I must admit, I clenched my butt hard for majority of the fight.
He certainly did, he won the hearts, administration and respect of every boxing fan in the world, by having balls of steel and being the epitome of a blood and guts warrior.
