Just like Tito has by beating up on smaller men....Wait...Bhop too...oh yea and that makes Roy Jones too. Who cares that these men have also moved up in higher weight classes to fight men larger than themselves.

 

Oscar...you know, I just think that everything is so calculated with him...I mean, it worked for him, it made him a multi-million dollar fighter, appealed him to everyone, all types of people, but with a public figure I want to hear what they REALLY feel... Oscar you never seem to get that, you get a thought out manufactured answer because he doesnt want to offend anyone, wants to present an image.

You shouldnt ALWAYS be able to tell ahead of time what an answer will be, you know? But, on the flip side, he's made millions being oscar and I ...havent LOL...by "keeping it real"

hey speaking of "image" , do you guys think that oscar helped MAB and his sometimes bad attitude? What's he like now that he is under don king? And to me it seemed like MAB was really fake under Golden Boy.

 

so much time and energy devoted to a fighter you hate (nudge, nudge, wink, wink). how this differs from a schoolgirl crush, i couldnt tell you.
i have my own fighters i hate and i sure as hell do not stand around at bookstores reading about them or planning my threads around them.
i guess my line between love and hate is just a bit thicker.

 

Yeah man.....I understand your angle regarding DLH, but he's got his own way of doing things. Oscar has always been a little quirky and squeaky clean on the surface.....Business wise he knew his physical apperance and his likability were key. I'm sure everyone knows Oscar is not as nice and PC as he presents.....I mean that Scores Stripper could tell us lots of dirt I'm sure....but like a good business man or poloticians he is able to grab the attention of boxing fans and moreso...the general public....his story is a great one and his accomplishments are next to none but I've always saw through most of what Oscar is presenting.

 

Yea, like I say, he knows how toplay the game for sure...it worked for him ten fold...
