I got hit with some right hammer as a kid and didn't batter a eyelid but got one right in middle of gut, A nothing punch for many on here but for me it was worse pain i've ever felt in a ring. I'm lucky kid never realized he hurt me.
Dunno, could be something in the fact Simpson seemed to retreat from bodyshots earlier in the fight. Don't think Simpson is the type to back up unless he was genuinely hurt by something, so I'm not going to assume anything since Simpson has a proud history of being a tough guy.
