John has to defend his commonwealth title against steve bell on the amir khan undercard on the 5th December. Now means his fight against Martin Lindsay will now have to be put back.

Yeah they were to fight back in april i think then john picked up an injury. John wins this easily i think. Just come at the wrong time though as he really wanted the lindsay fight. Just really hope it doesnt affect him being mandatory to lindsays title as purse bids were due yesterday for the fight

Ha ha, aye, you're right, Martin wouldn't want to defend his title against some lad who's been stopped in 2 of his last 3 contests and has only stopped 1 in his 13 victories. I'm sure Marty can't sleep at night with worry ;)

I was thinking a long the lines of too much risk and no reward.

Dont think this is the fight truscott needs at the moment. Think he needs to regroup have a few tune up fights 1st then maybe think about challenging for some sort of title. Still think he has a great future ahead of him though

1st of all he was winning the first fight until he got cut a dont care if people think Simpson was getting to him, Paul told me he was just getting his second wind, the rematch Paul has said John beat him fair and square even though he didnt have the best of training camps leading into the fight... Ask John Simpson if Paul Truscott hits hard, Can Lindsay handle the type of tear up that Truscott loves.

Jaime Arthur has more than earned a crack at Lindsay. I hope that fight comes off.

Bell vs Simpson is a very good clash too and on the undercard of the most legendary fighter in existance, wow.
