    John gets a world title shot if he gets past Choi according to the papers today.

    Hearn has put it out there according to what I read....aint on twitter so canna really ask.

    Was a good wee piece on him and more than earned........be interesting to see how it pans out.

    Personally think Choi aint been busy enough (or has he ?) in recent days and time is gonna catch up with him sooner or later........and ayes I like the guy......just think John is looking pretty fresh since moving up.

    Thoughts............and tell me it aint some Silver Bronze buckle job.......please.


    Who/what is available if John comes through this (as I expect and have reasoned) on the world scene ?

    When he lost to Smith the first time i think he was doing alright in one of the rankings. Lets face it John could of won a European title (way he was fighting, Domestic level at FW very strong at time) at that point the way he was operating and we've seen lesser fighters get world title fights.

    John's a grinder and i love my grinders, Boxing is a funny old game but i'd be well chuffed for John or Choi if they get a world title fight. Both men are warriors, John's been through a lot in the ring would be the real working mans path to a title fight.

    Ayes.....and when he whipped Lindsay (am waiting for it.....) I remember someone saying or reading how Lindsay was ranked 4 in the IBF ?

    Could be wrong..........its a great wee writeup considering its all Harrison n Burns usually....and there wasn't too many mistakes record wise :lol:

    Was wondering this too......if Choi been offered it or similar ?

    if anyone deserves a break it simpson thought he beat Derry and Smith * got Robbed of a KD against Appleby which may have cost him the fight and by all accounts he was Robbed against Dazzo Williams the man deserves a break

    Yeah the man is old school, very decieving record, would be amazing if he won a world strap, depending on the belt holder stranger things have happened

    world title fight you say?

    it won't be any of the top 4 belts, so that leaves the IBO title and Yordan, who beat Choi, lost that recently.
