    But seriously I don't give a fuck what anyone including the admins think of my language, nor do I give a fuck about being mod, this is my second tenure and I didn't ask for either one, have always felt it was a bit silly that I am one since I've always broken rules here and have done pretty regularly since my join date in 2006...but that said, given the opportunity to clean things up a bit I've happily pitched in my share and outside a few whiners I think most would agree I've done far more good than harm with those "powers" (a very melodramatic word for the meager permissions of a forum moderator, which are overrated and really sort of boring chore, tbh, I'm not sure why people think doing this unpaid is some kind of privilege of which to bother with being envious) :nusenuse:

    I banned him because he keeps trolling about things he knows are patently untrue to try and bait others into arguments and he's been doing it for a long time now and when he did it again at the weekend I issued this warning.

    Then as soon as he came back he did it again so he got a well deserved crack across the bonce with the ban hammer

    Kirk also pulled him up on his trolling shortly before and me banning him had nothing to do with your exchange with him at all, which FTR I didn't even see until this morning.

    Aw man, that's been my one constant as far as superficial pieces of my identity on here since Nov. 2006 - as I've undergone several avatar changes (which probably would shock many old-school members who figured I'd have Tapia/Barrera for all eternity) and while I've revived my classic post signature for a time it was toggled off.

    I do like The Unhesitant Nihilist though. :D

    For what it's worth, I saw the same things you saw, including Kirk's, and had you not gotten him, I probably would have. He's gotten into a triggered OCD loop, where he'd latch onto to things, and pick and peck away in a very trollish manner, never letting things fully drop, and most of what he's spewing is either disingenuous as hell, or he really is that dumb, I think its the former, which also applies to many of the posters on this board. If they do it here and there, then fine.... but when its an obsessive rut, they need a time out.

    Exactly, he's been doing it for a long time and there's no question it's definitely the former. I've pulled him up on it at least a year ago if not longer but he won't stop doing it.

    Forgive me, I only skim-read if I find the content boring. I get it now...you’re not a mod but you have ‘mod powers’ hence why the mods are not touching you for swearing but they’d whack a two-week ban on us for doing the exact same thing. Which is what is irking me cos I hate double standards and that’s why i’m pointing it out.

    I’ll let you get back on the subject of Ryder.

    Haha, how odd...a rogue mod. The mad thing is I actually agree with you, I think we’re all grown ups round here and we should be able to swear if we want to. I think we should be able to say whatever we like (within reason). Despite all that though, rules are rules and we all have to respect them apart from your seemingly untouchable self.

    Mods, you’re losing an awful lot of credibility here. He’s making you look stupid, this lad. He’s undermining you in front of everyone and you’re very quickly losing any (grudging) respect that users of this board have for you.     Enjoy watching Ryder at 168, seems to be far heavier handed too.

    Still think he has the tendency to fight in straight lines and gets tagged a bit too often which would lead to a painful loss to Callum Smith.

    I think the fight Vs Eubank is the one to make. Would be a great fight
