On the Hayemaker bill tonight. Tough fight to call this one, just wondered what everyones views are. Havent seen much of Watson but he's the undefeated local prospect, Walsall's Gethin has only 1 defeat (losing his English title in the process) on a cut to Scott Lawton. Very good match up imo. On my way to Liverpool in a bit looking forward to this one :good
Guess it was just me looking forward to this one then lol. Was a really good fight imo, gutted for Gethin he didnt win, imo though I scored it more favourably in Watson's favour than ref. Thought both fought well just Watson's speed and movement were very good, very impressed by him, think he can trouble Murray if he gets the fight as urray's a similar style fighter than Gethin, come forward, pressure fighter. Still enjoyed the night though even though my local lad lost, some great fights. Missed Derry Matthews, Groves looked impressive, stoppage was a tad early though, Price looked good (apart from the one blip), and the Dodson Quigley fight was a mini war. Most the scousers we met were top top people and some of the birds were the best looking birds I've seen at boxing! Arena was nice an all, all in all a top night of boxing thoroughly enjoyed.
yer i had it a few more rounds 2 waston, he was almost gone in the last 30 secs thought, lucky it wasnt 12 rounds haha
