The ending of this fight looks suspect to me. Please, tell me how I am wrong. The fight looks completely legit until the 11:58 mark. That did not look like a real kick to go on. There is some what looks to be bad acting that follows. [YT]DpjONWX-Tx8[/YT]
Don't know what you are alluding to - nothing wrong with this fight. JWP hits him with a solid left just before the leg kick - the punch is what dropped him. Jordan had every incentive to try and beat JWP - problem was he had JWP punching him in the face with 4oz gloves for 12 minutes.
it was the elbow that hurt him. thats why hes holding his head on the ground. jordan actually did very well in this fight. he was completely outgunned before the bell even rang but hung in there for quite a bit.
Check out a thread titled 'JWP vs Shaggy' on the message boards of International Kickboning Forum. Some lively debate on there from the Gunslinger, as to who he might be fighting this year.:thumbsup Threads gone a little quiet at the moment, mmight be due to him being in Canada right now teaching seminars there. Apparently anything under 20 degrees celsius puts him in a bad mood. By the way folks, he was also nominated for Australian of the year. Dead set living legend.
OP if a tool. nothing wrong with that ko. the opponent had every intention of finishing JWP but when you get knocked down so many times it's upto the fighter if they are to continue the fight
This is a respectful thread about a champion fighter. Can you contribute something positive please or just jog on. The OP said nothing to warrant being called a 'tool'. Slow down, proof read what you post, relax.. breath in and out.:thumbsup Is English your second language?:think
Might have to youtube a couple of his fights. :good :hat
Youtube this... Chris Allen vs John Wayne Parr. First time i saw him fight, been a fan ever since.:good
I was at that fight. Chris trained at the gym I was at whilst in Melbourne to prep for it. Awesome show - JWP's nose breaking was like a gunshot. Crowd went wild when he wanted to punch on but it was a bad break and had to be stopped.
Thank you! I totally missed that elbow looking through the beer goggles. I just could not figure out how a fighter trying so hard could be dropped by so little. Suddenly I see.
This content is protected GSP just updated with this pic. You can't deny when he's working on specific disciplines in training camp, he doesn't mess around.
Nice pic! :good I don't know much about GSP, but he's obviously a shrewd guy. Striking is his weakness so he goes to the source, first ex Raja champ and and all round badass Lamsongkram Chuwattana plus his heavy side kick form Tiger MT Kru Yod and now the legendary gunslinger himself. It begs the question as MT has become such an essential add on in modern MMA, why don't more UFC guys seek out proper MT training.....?:think
GSPs elite training partnerships have been pretty well documented over the years. For example, Training with the Canadian National Wrestling Team, Training at Wild Card boxing Gym with Roach, Olympic Sprint and Gymnastics coaches, BJJ Roger Gracie one of the best grappler in the world, Olympic weight lifting coach. Being the celebrity and superb athlete he is, it must be easy for him to get in with the best.
