Banks has a solid shot of beating Mitchell.

As far as Mitchell walking thru Banks, I guess it is possible but unlikely.
Banks is the same guy that took out Travis Walker with one perfectly placed punch.

Walker is 6 ft 5 in, 245 lbs with a huge punch. But he is a bit chinny-er that Mitchell. Or so it seems.

Difference is Mitchell goes to the body where Walker didn't.

I'm a fan of Mitchell, but like you said he is basically still a prospect. It's easy to get carried away with a guy like Mitchell, but Banks is fully capable of outboxing him.

Banks seems like a good guy too, but I'm fully on the Mitchell bandwagon. I'd like to see him continue to develop and become a prominent HW.

The ingredients seem to be there for Banks to have a "fight of his life" type performance.

Banks typically weigh between 220-230 and Mitchell around 240.

10-15 lbs is all. Banks is also taller.

Mitchell is naturally so much bigger, i think Banks will do some good work before ultimately getting stopped.

I hope he does. Mitchell is just another overrated H/W.

I don't understand this fight for Mitchell. Banks might give him a boxing lesson.

Fuk this is why I love boxing because we see thins so differently.:good

I think if Banks survives not getting knocked out would be something.

Them are great odds. If there is a vbookie thread for it, that's where the big money will be made.

Banks is a far better fighter than Witherspoon, and Chazz almost exposed Mitchell. Banks can set traps, and if he can be defensive enough to avoid be blasted outta there early, he can look to counter and catch Mitchell being lazy or overaggressive and drop him.
Banks can be lethargic himself though, so it'll be no easy task for him for sure.

If Banks is an underdog in this fight, he's definitely a live dog for sure.:deal

Bank's low left hand will be the death of him.

Banks looks better in the weigh-in than I thought he would...he's looked worse.

Could be an interesting fight...looking forward to it.

I don't see it. Mitchell is mediocre at best but he will likely just overpower the former cruiserweight.

    I'm rooting for Banks..

Banks is naturally more talented boxer than Mitchell but I have a bad feeling Mitchell power overcomes the skills. Banks has all the tools to beat Mitchell with his skills but I think he is so much physically weaker that it makes a BIG difference in this fight. He can't let Mitchell come inside. If he allows that or just can't keep the distance it's over pretty soon. Banks is little bit chinny and on the other hand Mitchell is very strong(as already mentioned..) so if Banks finds himself in a brawl.. It's over.. Soon.. :ko

I really hope that Banks could box, box and box... Keep the distance and make Mitchell miss with offbalanced shots. But is he able to do that? It's a long and hard fight with a very strong and determined opponent.. I pick Mitchell to TKO Banks in round 6. And that is not the result I hope.

Mitchell's :manny just too much to handle..
