    JOHNNY's fight in the Gardens,

During 1964, there were many great and interesting fights.
And, there were many interesting boxers. One boxer that
I remember from the Sixties was JOHNNY BIZZARRO
    from Erie.

There was one old boxing magazine that had a photo
of the name BIZZARRO in the bright lights of the
    MSG marque.

This moment was recalled in the October 1964
issue of "Boxing Illustrated" which reported on
    Johnny's victor over FRANKIE NARVAEZ

Johnny Bizzarro was quoted as follows:
"I'll never get over the thrill of seeing
    my name up there."

Johnny's feelings should not be unexpected.
There were countless fighter that dreamed
of one day fighting in the Gardens, and for
a select few they had a top billing for all
to see through the bright lights of New York city.
As a result of that fight with Frankie, I always
remembered Johnny has one of the good
    fighters of the sixties.;):hi:
