This woulda been a good fight, good clash of styles here. I think Turner takes it due to Bratton being too easy to lure into a brawl which would be to his detriment against someone as strong and aggressive as Gil. Johnny could box real good though and was a good counter-puncher and if he stuck to it all night he would likely beat Turner, but even in that scenario Turner`s unrelenting aggression and strenght would make it damn close on the cards when all is said and done.

I always thought Turner was a very good fighter, but I have a feeling he gets edged on a close decision here (as he so often did). Turner wasn't particularly fast footed, and his defense was somewhat leaky. I think Bratton could make him chase him and score with that quick sneak right hand of his.

I don't know if Bratton could knock him out, but I think he could maneuver and flurry enough to win on points.

i agree with you both this would have been one hell of a fight with all the tricks and manuvers youd want to see the whole fight.i also believe it would be very fast paced with little or no letdown even into the late rounds if it got there.
