they are scrapping the bottom of the barrel for fischer, wasnt he supposed to be the top uk hw prospect?. he looked ordinary in his fights so far

 

Yeah haven't been blown away by what I've seen so far from him, so yeah, we'll probably see him operating at a low level for the time being.

 

It is good to see that Lovejoy's mysterious loss to Charr is not deterring him. I think when it comes out that Charr loaded his glove with egg weights and paid traitors to spike Lovejoy's water, the loss will probably be reversed.

 

Lovejoy is so bad it’s clear his record was purchased. I doubt he ‘won’ any of the fights attributed to him on his record.

Top UK prospect? You joking?

the guy was a student 18 months ago, has next to no amateur background. Decided to go to the gym to stay fit and ended up doing a bit of sparring with the likes of Joe Joyce and ended up giving it a go.

he’s on record saying he would be very happy if he won the British title in his career. He’s not even close to being the Top UK prospect just a nice bloke with a good story amd will try hard

Hes had 2 pro fights and very little amateur experience, and was essentially a rugby player who liked to box a bit.

This is a good fight for a guy like Fischer.

are all above Johnny Fisher for me in terms of prospects.

However Fisher vs Lovejoy is an interesting fight. Two novices who allegedly punch hard. Should be fun whilst it lasts. Won't happen though.

 

I want some of whatever Mr Lovejoy is smoking.

 

The guy Fischer fought in his last fight is 5 levels above Lovejoy.

Lovejoy is smart, he's now trying to bring himself in contention for fighting on some bigger cards against prospects as a tune up fight. He knows how the business works as he's part of it since the first day and was padding his record with bums. Now he's the bum padding up other guys records. Lovejoy looks good on paper with the 19-1-0 and will be a decent W on any prospects resume. Nobody gives a **** about Lovejoy being a total bum and fraud because nobody looks deep into these records.

Eddie has no shame at all so he might give him a fight or two.
