I was excited about seeing his career progress but this Bosch catchphrase and the Chinese food nonsense has put me right off.. give me Usyk and Joyce going about their business quietly any day of the week

 

Very good point - and he also avoids the fake 'beef' too; you can just see Fisher getting into that, the longer his career lasts. Some Matchroom cannon fodder opponent will say his dad's fat and off we'll go... until the dipping of balls afterwards!

 

Johnny Fisher is a good kid and intelligent guy. His dad is a bad influence on him though with this bosh thing, but to be fair it has brought up his profile and he has a good following. Obviously it comes across as annoying but he is travelling across the country with 2000+ fans. Remember that he only had about 10 amateur fights fighting over one season, so he'll move slowly and doesn't need to be rushed. I think British level is his ceiling but remember he dealt with his opponent in quicker fashion than David Adeleye.

 

Top bloke is Joyce. No attempts at being funny, no gimmicks, no false trash talk, just a genuine nice bloke.

 

David Adeleye is terrible.

Everyone knows that Fisher is following a script for what he reckons will be career mobility, but he lacks authenticity and fans (the paying consumer) has every right to dislike the cringeworthy nonsense.

 

The worst is when IFL conveniently film Boxer A recieving a pre planned facetime from boxer B. Makes me want to wretch

 

Because he's a weirdo. He's an Art student ffs. Have you seen his attempts at trash talking? He's an odd bod. And nonsense? How you seen his ****ing outfit that he wears for fights? Looks like something out of spitting image ffs.

 

Seems a decent lad but this just seems too forced and staged. If you are showing this behaviour bad it's genuine you want to go see the guy then it certainly doesn't need to be filmed.
