Kind of reminded me of Joshua vs Cornish. They made an event out of a knockover and people paid, so who am I to judge!

Boxnation was shite, cheap production. Almost amateur like.

And yet nearly a million people subscribe (ad-funded) to IFL TV where the interviewers are halfwits and quite often you can barely hear the dialogue. BoxNation was professional in comparison to that :)

(Not forgetting the IFL guys got an apprenticeship on BoxNation!)

Hearn pre fight described the fight as a huge step up for Bosh when clearly your example of Joshua v Cornish illustrates the Hearn spin machine in full flow.

Babic was always shyte and should never have made our screens.

Bosh is not going very far for me and he should be facing Hughie 'The Skirt' Fury level next where he will be found out.

Could win a vacant British Title if he makes his challenge with a weak opponent at the right time.

Del Boy in his 13th pro fight was scheduled to fight Wladimir Klitschko and it did not happen due to Toe Haye v Klitschko.

Bosh will still be fighting poor opponents 2 years from now.

Probably. Depends what distractions come in between or if the Saudi Official likes Fisher as much as Mark Chamberlain!

Hearn is very good at making mediocre fighters huge sums of money with next to zero risk matchmaking as we have seen with Whyte, Chisora, Joshua and Bellew etc while claiming 'huge tests' and '50/50 fights'.

Last night was exactly the same with a few hundred viewers watching on DAZN UK.

Mr Hearn is a master salesman and there are still some mugs out there who still believe his words.

Funny watching the Sky cameras completely ignore him in the pits at Silverstone today though. To be fair he wasn't trying to get on TV (unlike one of the new cabinet ministers who made a proper wally of himself) but funny anyway.

Fisher sells loads of tickets, so needs to be managed carefully. Keep him well away from Wardley.

Strongly agree, Wardley absolutely ruins him early rounds.

Which is kind of amusing as they're basically both white collar boxers with a bit of professional training. One's just a bit further on than the other.

I wouldn't mind if Fisher is matched up against soft opponents for the next 18-24 months.

We must remember that he has almost no amateur background as a boxer.

Having said that, I think he has developed nicely and shown clear improvements in his last couple of fights.

I hear you, it's just not likely to happen is it - in the world of Matchroom every fight has to be more challenging than the last, nobody making up the numbers, etc, so he won't be allowed too long to develop.

That being said, he could fight Dave Allen next and it'd be a harder test. Stranger things have happened, too.
