Matchroom FC can't understand why their big hype monkeys can't beat a little chap from some Eastern European poor country. They've spent years being told, and convincing themselves, that the likes of Bellew, Joshua and Shyte are elite heavies. Then they get toyed with by Usyk/Fury and their entire boxing worldview is shattered infront of their very eyes.

Its weird. I dont even think they're doing it to be contrarian. I think they genuinely believe their fighters are the best.

 

This is why people shouldn't ever appeal to boxers and even trainers. Because a lot of them, despite being champions, don't know **** about boxing. You've got to have such a basic understanding of boxing to think Bellew is even a hundredth fighter Usyk is.

They don't come better than BJ Flores. Only ducking kept him from dominating cw and hw. The guy got the shaft at every turn, champs ran in fear. When you read through his list of wins, only Darnell ding a ling man Wilson had the balls to face him. What a monument to the downfall of boxing this great man's career became.
