Wasn't there a Billy Walker fight in London in the 60s where an American boxer was bribed to lose against Walker?

  2. The result was a fair one though wasn't it ?

That's what Billy said... even come on here on Monday and said Burns won the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th, 11th, and 12th rounds.

So if Billy is such a great trainer and honest man like Hearn is, then why are Top Rank and the WBO getting involved... they must not of seen Billy's exceptional apology on here on Monday, the one that raised more questions than answers.. :rofl

Here's the boys now... the future of boxing the lot of them, look at them go with their snidy little eyes and their bullsquirt answers. ****ing disgrace the lot of them ( except for Burns, he did the hard work ) :hi:

  3. The jaw was a major concern. hahahah

Burns- My jaw is fvcked on that side.

    Fatboy Nelson- shut up.

To be honest the fact billy as left the site and not fought his corner tells me he knows burns got a gift decision.

  5. If it was close mate or anyway he could argue the draw or the win for Burns he would be still here giving it the big one.

    Without a fvcking doubt.

Yeah it's out of character for him just to **** off with his tail between his legs. He knows the truth. When him and ricky part hopefully he will come back and admit his wrongs.

I think his scorecard of 114-113 Beltran is about as far as he'll go mate.

I think it's pretty much the universal concensus amongst Burns fans that it was a gift and things need to be put right for the sake of Ricky's credibility and Beltran getting an opportunity to get a fair crack(not at Ricky's jaw again BTW)

He explained himself, what corner was there to fight? Especially as it he said they were lucky, you another one who requires certain terminology to be appeased?

I know his scoring of the rounds was off but id be interested to see us score fights when we have an actual emotional interest in it

  9. I do and have done.

I know how to fvcking score a fight and if my fighter got beat I'd be man a enough to say so. Especially if it was as blatant as that the other night.

Johnny Nelson is just sticking his finger up in the air and seeing which way the wind blows...

You want to know what really started to ruin British boxing?

When a British Cruiserweight champion got a shot at a vacant world title against an old man on ITV and froze, barely throwing a punch for 12 rounds.

The same fighter gets another shot, and arguably puts an even worse performance in. Then he puts another shocker in against Akinwande, and is basically black balled from the British sport for a few years.

That was what used to ruin boxing, not a fighter battling through a knockdown and a jaw injury to by hook or by crook, keep his crown...

The decision was wrong, but from what I have read, the press Burns got was mainly focusing on his brave battle. Generally that has helped not hindered the sport to the mainstream.

Its not about being 'man enough', he was 'man enough' to come on here and say they were lucky, it amounts to the same thing. So what if he is too involved to score objectively?

He admitted the important stuff, there needs to be a rematch and Ricky lost.

Different people require more to appease them. Im of the opinion that he may not have gone as far as some would like but it wont change now and he clearly knows they were beat that night and the score was wrong. Realitically this is all you will get from most trainers. To be honest, you dont get that from a lot of them.

The Belgian was legit. The Dirty BRIT and the Yank on the take were the culprits....

Can you imagine if we only had an Arthur Abraham fight to look forward to at the weekend?
I'm looking forward to having something new to talk about. Even tempted to bypass the fight report in Boxing News because I'm getting burnout with this one.

  14. Let me guess, you're a Jock ?

You make me smile. You are not even man enough to stand up for what you believe in.

You have had the opportunity to raise your allegations of bribery and corruption in this fight with organisations who could do something with them. For whatever reason you were too scared to do something constructive. Instead you treated this an excuse to put the boot into Billy Nelson.

I laughed when I read your posts to Billy, despite you knowing Billy had left the site. Well you can probably contact Billy at his Fighting Scots gym. He seems an okay guy and if you wanted to debate the in and outs of his boxing philosophy I am sure he would be only to happy to accommodate a face to face meeting with you.

"Man enough to say so". You are entertaining.
