Why have they give the guy such a big role on SKY sports, have him commenting after fights with the other boxers but don't have him give him a job presenting the show, listening to him struggle like fook to get through the show is painful. That job he's doing now should be done by a professional talker.
I like Johnny and tbf he is a bit rubbish at the canned presenter thing but I'd prefer the coverage to a little less formal anyway. Why do they need lines written for them?

Johnny is better in the studio when he is asked for his opinion. Ed is a great guy, but he is boring. SKY need Al Bernstein - Plain & Simple.
Correct,to be honest I cant think of a ex-world champ who has done presenting /continuity before plenty of summerisers but is Johnny the first?

Can't stand him. Always seems to have his favourites in fights based on gyms or people he knows, never on facts. He was god aweful to watch as a fighter (he had a good career not going to diss that) and worse as a presenter if possible, I would sooner have richie woodhall or someone similar do it.
I don't get the love for woodhall, hes a nice guy but is very biased towards fighters he is pally with and was very biased in the olympis, he also has a boring drab voice..
