47 years old, been away from the ring 9 years to then get in the ring with Huck? For his own sake I hope he's just posturing.

 

I can't forget how shot he looked towards the end of his career. He barely threw punches. Imagine what he'd be like NOW?! Haha.

Nelson was a decent/solid world champion, you've got to take your hat off to him. What he achieved whilst not having the most 'natural' ability is remarkable... all the more considered that I'm pretty sure he lost more amateur fights than he won and he also lost his first 3 pro fights.

To go on to do what he did in becoming a world champion, he deserves nothing but respect.

I'd rather he be satisfied enough with that, why come back now?

 

He must be skint or he is eyeing up a showdown with Clev or Bellew...

He was horrible to watch even at his best. I recall him getting some generous decisions along the way too. Stick to being Smith's sidekick.

 

I can remember watching him fight on Eurosport in germany and he was champion at the time too and I was sat there going who???

 

He looked really pissed ringside when Huck equalled his record and he looks far from being done unlike Johnny.

Stay retired Johnny. Don't emberras yourself because someone breaks your record. Records are supposed to be broken over time.
