Nelson seems like a nice guy and I like his punditry but as a boxer he wasn't anything special really. I mean he was a "World Champion" but the WBO was not a serious title back then, no-one cared about it and like other WBO champs, he defended it against pretty average fighters at best. He also had an extremely negative and boring style which didn't help either.
