Just a quick question, about a year ago Ringside did a special with Mike Tyson. At re en of the interview, Johnny shock his hand and said something like "thank you, you saved my life". Can anyone tell me what this was about, or was it simply that Tyson's fights inspired him to take up boxing?
Johnny Nelson is far too humble, i'm sick of the way Ringside, buzz off "No Mark" fighters. Johnny Nelson is a true Winner, and needs to be commended with his own "Ringside Special"
In a recent Boxing News article Nelson described his opponent Marcelo Dominguez as the best in the world when they fought - despite Dominguez having been beaten twice by still reigning WBC champ Juan Carlos Gomez a few years before (once on home turf) and not having done anything since. Can't help wonder if there'd be further rewritings of 'history' in the book?
