    Looks like the June 4 rubber match Johnny Tapia-Frankie Archuleta is back on. As of today, Monday, May 23, Tapia and Archuleta will be going ten rounds on June 4. Both fighters have taken MRIs and have been given the green light.

    This fight probably shouldn't happen but it is in a sick way still interesting.

    johnny tapia is gonna get him enough money to buy some coke then go back to jail lol he is one of me and my pops favorites he just needs to stay out of trouble

    Tapia's one of my all time faves and one of the most exciting fighters on the mid to late 90's. But dude who posted above is probably right- he'll spend his purse on coke and eventually end up back in jail.

    I'm giving Johnny the benefit of the doubt.
    He seems to have finally come full circle & seems to be doing well.
    (But for those who know anyone like Tapia, **** can change from day to day)

    I wonder if this fight will get any airtime?

    Did any of you see Juan Carlos Burgos vs Archuleta a couple of months ago? Doesn't seem like Archuleta can take a punch anymore at all.

    Not to bring this up, but you know when people talk about Floyd abusing his babys momma and ****... Well I have bit my ****ing tounge in responding with Tapia, alot of people here who have talked **** about Mayweather for beating up on his babys momma were sporting Johnny Tapia avatars... and of course none of us have forgot what he did have we?
