Tapia was awesome, had that American style with fast hands and combination punching and the Mexican heart with an iron jaw. But it looks like Chocolatito is on another level, he can be extremely fast at times, but he knows how to switch his speed up and is a very complete fighter. Chocolatito reminds more of Sal Sanchez than Arguello actually. Arguello had elegant boxing, but never as defensive or fluid as Sanchez was. Arguello also relied more on his power, bigger puncher with one punch power. Sanchez better combination puncher, as is Chocolatito.

Too Sharp would be a better fight.

Why not include Michael Carbajal and Khaosai Galaxy in this poll?

I think Johnny was a Masterful boxer at 115 pounds who had great lateral movement with quick combinations.. I think Johnny would have beat Choco in a close bout and would look alot similar to the Romero fight where he gave the hard punching Romero a boxing Lesson... The buildup would have been huge for a fight like Tapia vs Gonzalez! 2 undefeated popular Champions putting it on the line... What a Great fight that would have been..R.I.P Burque's Champ!

Well see when he fights Cuadras. Tapia at 115, would outbox Chocalito.

Gonzalez is great, but Tapia has/had the tools to be him, and quite easily, if Tapia had the right mindset...!!!

Paulie Ayala said it perfectly, "Fighting Tapia is like fighting fire with fire and he has a flamethrower, I had a book of matches"...!!!
