So it looks like the fight is officially scheduled for August 14 according to PBC. It's an interesting match up and it'll show us how much Rigo has left and if Casimero is really that good. I'm stoked, but it's still a few months away.
Anyone else actually looking forward to this?

Yeah, its still a fight between 2 of the top 5 guys in their division.

The winner I assume is being lined up to fight the Donaire-Ouballi winner and that'll be a big one.

Hopefully the winner of that tourney would then fight Inoue.

It's a okay match up. Casimero should beat this version of Rigo.

There is a possibility of a meaningful rematch between Rigo and Donaire to unify titles. Who woulda thought we would have been saying that in 2021-22?

Looks like Casimero vs Rigo is back on. Glad the Donaire/Casimero drama didn’t affect the original fight date. I’m still stoked to see how this goes.

If Casimero beats him, then that would be a finger to Donaire lol. He’ll beat the guy who beat Donaire. Donaire would be accused of ducking even more.

Casimero should retire this boring Rigo with an early TKO

Rigo came out of this looking like a genius. He got the step-aside money, now he gets the original title fight, with some greater interest because of the Donaire shenanigans.

I' m looking forward to it. Rigo has been vulnerable lately, and Casimero has good power. It should be an intriguing matchup.

Donaire is way past it and Rigo had already beaten him.

he also proved himself a *****, he really took cancel culture literaly.

“I stand” my ass. More like bend over getting pegged by his wife.
