SO hard to imagine Calzaghe couldn't beat Dawson ?
There's 2 camps okay ones that say Dawson beat Johnson (Dawson nuthuggers) and the other that says Johnson beat Dawson (sensible minded unbiased folk) and the entire crowd thought Johnson beat dawson and were booing the result and Dawsons face was a mess.

What is it about Dawson that makes people think he can beat everyone ? the man went life and death with Glen Johnson and had a face like a pizza afterwards.

I'm a Glenn Johnson fan, was at the fight rooting for him, and I thought Dawson won clearly. It was a close fight but Johnson got outworked.

There is a whole world between nuthugging and hating. You should try it some time.

I had it a draw but if I'd have to give it to somebody I'd give it to Dawson

I wasn't at ringside, I'm not a Glen Johnson fan, I can write down his name correctly and still had him ahead 115-113... But it was no robbery, I guess the more popular fighter always gets the nod, therefore no need to shout controversy... but not giving Johnson a rematch made tons of respect loss for Chad, whom became better BECAUSE of the gentleman in Johnson and the fight he put on.

I feel really sorry for the man once I hated because he knocked Roy out bad...

By the way: the way for Chad Dawson, truly a great fighter, to get his shot is either fight Hopkins like Pavlik did - yes, he failed, but he took the risk! - or fight Kessler. Just look better than Joe did, and the public and HBO will demand it.

    It's that simple.

Even so the fight was very very close and Dawson got busted up ? I just want to know why after seeing that fight does everyone think Dawson is superman ?

i was rooting for chad at the start of the fight, but towards the end i was seriously pissed off because i had it for glen by 1 round and i know 1 round if nothing but it could atleast been a draw

atleast give the old man a rematch, i mean he busted his balls to get that title shot

Whilst Dawson vs Johnson was close, I dont actually think anyone other than Dawson fans/ Calzaghe hater think that Dawson would actually beat Calzaghe.

Johnson has been around so long you would have though Joe would have run into him by now.

I had Dawson winning by two rounds. A draw would have been fairer than the judges' four point winning margin for Dawson, though.

Anyway...Dawson had some very shaky moments. He needs to rematch Johnson before putting their rivalry to bed.

It doesn't matter he lost 7,possibly 8, rounds. This fight wasn't all that controversial. At best it was a 8-4 advantage for Chad. At the very worst it was a draw. There's no way Johnson won that fight.
