Johnson: Cloud illegally switched gloves before our fight!

Crazy. He might have thought he won the fight and that's fine, I thought he won by a round.

This **** is a stretch too far.

 

This stuff has to stop.

 

there may be some merit to the claim because i saw this mentioned in Dan Rafeal's recap of the fight.

 

For ****'s sake Johnson just give it up, you didn't do enough to win clearly and you lost a fair decision. The guy is talking like he got Kotelniked or something.

 

Well, sounds like it happened from the description. Not sure if it made a difference in the outcome of the fight, but still, why did they switch? They must have felt it gave them an advantage even if the gloves weren't tampered with.

 

What, Glen Johnson felt hard done by? Well that's news to me.

 

Glen has a lagit gripe. The glove need to be checked before the fight from both camps and then get a marking from the Comish. Don't be shocked that it becomes a ND.....

 

Johnson is still top notch. I see no reason to retire. Get him in with Pascal after he loses to Dawson

If this is true he should be suspended for one year. He went in with gloves that the other side did not have a chance to inspect and could have been tampered with. What is the difference between him and Margo? Margo got caught BEFORE the fact.

If Cloud had loaded his gloves, with an illegal substance concealed in his wraps, by all means. If he fought like that? Ban him forever.

 

Glen has got a valid case.......if the Cloud camp knowingly switched to gloves that were NOT agreed to in their contract this could present a major problem. I feel for Glen.....He could have gotten the nod like in so many of his fights but they are NEVER going to give him the benefit. He's a true warrior and I hope he catches a break.
