Oh come, on a decisive points win is just as convincing if not as exciting as a ko.
A knockout can be scored against the run of play and often is, a fighter might be well behind and land a Hail Mary shot ,is that more definitive that a points shut out?
What has Greb to do with anything?:huh

The majority of fights that go the distance are not decisive, many many many rip offs occur... nah knock em out then there is no argument, your case is paper thin.

I haven't made a case ,just stated a cold fact.
A clear decision win is just as valid as a ko , ie both are wins.
    That is irrefutable and undeniable.

Well that's like saying the letter B is the first of the consonants in our language.

Chuvalo was an exceptionally tough but limited fighter. He was too damn slow, plain and simple .. the knockdowns have always been exceptionally questionable. To call them so decisively is a tailored argument.

I thought that we might talk about Joe Walcott, since this threat was conceived as a thread about Joe Walcott!

Actually, if you go back and read how this started it was a troll on me, like the vast majority of Greg's posts. He has nothing better to do while sitting in his moms basement than to jack off to Les Darcy films and troll me on the internet. Sad really.

I just hope that somebody with your eye for detail writes a biography of Walcott one day!

Absolutely correct. A Sweet Pea or Pep pitching near shut outs were just as impressive as a Marciano right hand ending it against Jersey Joe. Different fighters different abilities.

Arguing for the sake of arguing gets boring.

I think that would be great. Just because I dont think Walcott was the best ever doesnt mean Im not interested in the guy. The problem is that a guy like greg cant accept that most dont see Darcy as nearly as great as he does so he has to make an ass of himself to anyone who disagrees. He thinks that posting an article by johnson about walcott is somehow an insult to me. Its not because unlike greg in relation to darcy ive never claimed greb was the best fighter ever and as long as the argument against it is based on sound reasoning and fact then fair enough. If the argument isnt sound and isnt based on fact i will point it out and if you still disagree then fair enough.

I am not replying to the idiot troll KlomptOOn but want to clear something up.. This thread had NOTHING to do with Greb... just that the IDIOT thinks any claim by anyone that someone other than Greb is the greatest is a personal attack on him/IT.... this means jack Johnson was trolling him... Ali was too when he dared to call himself the "greatest"...... the above post by the idiot is one thing and one thing only speaking..... EGO, KlomptOOn's EGO. the biggest ego I ever met anywhere.... ever.

As for Klompton's claim I live in my mother's basement that is hilarious, I am sitting next to my wife typing this and a long way from my mothers home. At least I am still married and my wife never had to run away from me like Compton's had to. Know your enemy is the first requirement in war and Klompton clearly knows nothing about me, first thing he should know is not to push me too far, I have plenty of mud I can throw if I really want to so don't pay to much attention to the village idiot of Carbondale.
