I just realized that Johnson has a huge grin on his face while he knocks Jeffries through the ropes the second time. I had a good laugh thought you guys might wanna see.

Are you sure Johnson's really smiling? Sometimes photos lie. Maybe Johnson's face is contorted by physical strain and mental intensity, making it appear that he's smiling when the camera clicked.

 

yea I got the footage, and when slowed down, hes clearly grinning.

I'll upload it a little later so you guys can see too, must have been quite an experience for Jeffries.

 

Johnson was really fearless to act in such a manner, the spectators hated him and loved Jeffries.

I cant believe that johnson was not assassinated by white racists for smashing so many great white hopes with ease.

I would not say Jack Johnson the man is a hero to me, but his courage is simply amazing.

 

I think this definitely fits his personality.
