No, I can not confirm this. I can confirm that Johnson spent time in Wladimir's camp, and Wlad was impressed with his jab, and so was Manny Steward.

In my opinion Johnson's biggest problem is that he's too passive and gets backed up to easily. You could say he fights up or down to the level of his opponent. The talent level is there. The will? That remains to be seen.

 

i completely agree. He has great skills, but tends to take to many breaks in the ring. A part that i liked though (lol). he also worked with Holmes allittle bit in going off the jab and being more aggressive but thats not his nature. If you look at his fights he fights aggressive when he has a lesser oppenent and knows there isnt much to worry about. Im hoping he doesnt clam up and forgets to let his hands go. Mendoza you seem to be familiar with him and you know that sometimes he forgets he is in a fight and plays with the crowd alittle to much. But if he comes in to fight and sticks with what he does best, yes there will be boos but he can make it competitive. If he comes in thinking its a payday and shows off for the crowd, well he goes down like everyother young heavyweight stepping up.Mendoza did you train in Nj, if so where at.

Nope. I have not been in a gym in 2 years. South Florida here. I do not think Johnson will win. Vitali has too much, and under rated punch anticipation, footwork and defense to complement gargantuan size, power, punch variety ans accuracy.
