So far the Kessler camp have not responded to Johnson calling out Kessler. Kessler's manager says that he can confirm that Johnson has approached them and that he has delivered the offer to Kessler. However, Kessler has not gotten back to him with an answer.

If there's nothing else out there for Kessler than why not?

Johnson/Kessler would be an attractive option actually across the board.

A good US debut for Kessler. If he wins, people can compare with what Dawson did against Johnson.

Exactly. Just like we knew what the outcome of Pavlik vs. Hopkins would be considering Pavlik beat Taylor more convicingly than Hopkins. Anyway, Kessler doesn't have what it takes to batter Johnson. I'll be surprised if he even takes the fight.

    Not really. I don't think the A + B < C argument works here.

Kessler-Dawson doesn't look like it'll happen anytime soon anyways so that's a non-issue on any Kessler/Glenn Johnson fight.

By the way, NOBODY kicks Glen Johnson's ass.

Stylistically, Calzaghe puts nothing on his punches and throws so many. I could see him busting up Johnson a bit with his work rate and pitty pat punches that accumulate over 12 rds.

Chad stood his ground and threw heavy shots, not a good idea against Gentleman Glen.

Kessler would be in real tough against Johnson and I'd pick Glen to win with his activity mostly.

I'll stop hating on Palle -- for a little while -- if he makes Kessler/Johnson happen.
