March 1st @ Frontón Bizkaia. 8 rounders @ super featherweight.

On the comeback trail since O'Shaquie Foster snatched his zero last September - headlining on American television in what ought to have been his breakout performance - 23 year old Jonfer is taking on a man nearly twice his age in former 2x super flyweight champion Muñoz. Fans will remember the hard-hitting Venezuelan primarily for his losses, in his prime losing decisions virtually every time he stepped up in class (to Martin Castillo, Koki Kameda, and ridiculously via SD to Cristian Mijares who deserved closer to a shutout over Muñoz) and more recently in his super bantamweight run getting consistently ground down & stopped (by Leo Santa Cruz, Genesis Servania, and Rey Vargas).

This may be, prime for prime and pound for pound, the best fighter Jonfer has stepped in with to date, but he's 40 and campaigning four divisions above his peak weight. Par is set at "quick blowout".
