Fernández is jabbing and throwing straight declining rights. Petrov staying low, neck bent, throwing flurries at the body and reaching up with overhand rights. Lots of clinches. Fernández with a left hook on the body at mid-range and gets his neck Pez dispensered by a line drive counter right. Petrov hustling.

Fernández is throwing out single jabs and then breaking into a lateral trot. Petrov applying pressure from a crouch, peekaboo guard up, slashing high with hooks or shoeshining the body as he gets inside. Fernández unloading with straight combos but often sailing over the head of a ducking Petrov who counters on the body or bops Fernández on the nose with a scything right. Fernández slipping jabs but getting nicked with a few as well, getting cute with his movement on the outside. Quick 1-2 scores by Fernández.

Round 3

Fernández is steadying Petrov with the jab and then letting a long low lead left hook swing out from up under his chin. Fernández turning Petrov and scoring right hands. Petrov not getting to close range as much as in the previous couple of frames. Jab duel, with Petrov's lesser reach working against him outside. Nice counter left hook slapped up across the jaw by Petrov but Fernández outthrowing and outlanding him in this one. Petrov loading up now on overhands and hooks after slipping several Fernández jabs. Petrov coming in a bit too recklessly - and dropped by a counter right cross between his eyes. Up and the bell rings a moment later.

Round 4

Fernández is sticking the jab, patient and surgical, moving and baiting the lead from Petrov. Fernández getting smacked with some quick left hooks when Petrov straightens to full height and goes on his tiptoes, but there isn't much steam on them as he's fanning them with an emphasis on speed cannibalizing torque so he can ensure contact. Not enough of that in his favor, however, as it's all Jonfer beyond medium range. Fernández with jabs on the body and 1-2s into Petrov's chest and face while circling wide. Petrov tries a can opener right stepping in but is frozen in place with his forearms bunched up in front of his mouth to block several jabs. Fernández mixing 1-2s and uppercuts. Petrov winging hooks back at him but outgunned.
