This comment seems to be praising May, if a MMA world champion who can obviously strike says that a guy less than a 1/4 of his size (world champion or not) would have a competitive fight it's a compliment.

Walks in at 215 most likely aswell, wheras Flyd fights at at walk around weight150....anyhow forget it,,,,Floyd would get battered in straight stand up versus Aldo, Pettis, even Conor McGregor would **** him up.

If we talk straigh boxing then yes Floyd has chance against anyone only the elite elite MMA guys with good hands would stand a chance.

Boxing -Floyd winning 95 per cent across the weights

Stand up - He would get beaten badly by guys his weight class never mind going above 155.

MMA - Yikes, he lose everytime out

It's pretty ****ing stupid the conditions some of you ***s put on a MMA fighter. You say MMA won't help you if you're going up against a gang or other group of thugs but here is the part you're overlooking........... boxing won't help you either in that situation.

Some of you people are ****ing delusional, like there is no grappling in boxing? Hell, in many boxing matches the referees have to constantly break up fighters for holding. So I guess out on the street there is going to be an invisible referee that will break up any clinches that might occur with a grappler, right? The boxer has a punchers chance but if a grappler gets a hold of him it's over. Said boxer will likely get thrown onto the concrete, where he'll then subjected to stomps and soccer kicks.

Uhhh...you can knock someone out with a quick 1-2. In fact. if you're quick enough, you can have the first two attackers out within seconds, using nothing but boxing. There's now a good chance the rest of the attackers are scared, or weary about fighting you. You maybe have just won this fight in SECONDS, you've just dropped 2 targets that werent expecting it. OR, you can take the first guy down and wrap him up in an ankle lock or try and slap a guillotine choke on him...while his friends pummel the **** out of you. Your choice what works better with multiple attackers.

Punches will always be the favoured attack of choice against multiple attackers. Quick, accurate. Kicks are more powerful, but slower, and need more space, you might hit his buddy by mistake with your quad trying to deliver a roundhouse. One-on-one, in the street, maybe mma can work, if you're in a field or on soft ground however.

Maybe? If anything, fighting on asphalt or concrete is an advantage for the wrestler. If I throw, sweep, or otherwise slam you into the pavement...... how does that hurt me? Matter of fact, a simple hip toss onto a hard surface can be enough to cause serious injury to a person's back.

And once the boxer is on the ground who says the wrestler has to lay on him? The wrestler can do what ever he wants at this point because a boxer doesn't know how to fight off their back, let alone fight on the ground.

All I'm saying is that mma won't work with multiple attackers, at least as for this tangent of the thread lol. Takes too much attention on one person and leaves you open to the others.

This. If Mayweather was a comparable size he would win in cruise control.

How is fedor going to sink in 4 or 5 ankle locks at the same time? maybe an ankle lock on one guy while he has another in a guillotine and another in a rear naked choke and a fourth in an armbar, and what the ****, he can be administering a gnp to the fifth guy. UNLESS you mean he punches the first few, as in 'strikes' or 'boxing', knocks the first couple out with 1 or 2 shots each, then proceeds to choke out the 1 of the 3 that didnt run away. Is that what you meant?

IMO, small joint manipulation is much more practical for multiple attackers than anything you see in the Octagon. Combat JJ here works. Use boxing at first, or get behind the first guy and rip his flesh off his face. That will make the others run away lol

Especially if you then strip off all of your clothes and start eating his face and painting your chest with his blood.

That's what I would do, at least. There are no rules in a street fight, bro.

Chael was right... Bones is as dumb as a bag of rocks! LMAO Good thing the guy could fight or else he wouldn't get a job.

Why talk about fighting a guy who's about 70 pounds lighter and a foot shorter!
