embarrassing or not, it is a chain of false assumptions that led me to the statement of mine. :-( By the way I have only seen his last 3 fights. If I paid more attention to the stats I could have figured out that his UFC fights could not have been a part of the show, since the time period from UFC 87 to UFC 100 (almost a year) :scaredas: :verysad:|
this is clear, but my assumption was that since TUF belongs to UFC brand. Fights within that show are counted as UFC fights to boost the stats of average Joes. :-verysad:|
This coming from the guy who prefers the Pride ring to the UFC cage b/c at least in the ring you have nowhere to run...:rofl
You're to the UFC what One Punch is to Democrats/Obama. There's always an agenda or they're always doing things the absolute worst way. So claims of people being naive for not seeing sinister motives in everything the UFC does...
There's nowt sinister about the UFC, and I dont think Scurla has ever implied anything different to what most MMA fans already realise. It's about $$$ I'll let teh Diddy explain [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTTVkh6NX50[/ame]
Another utterly useless comparison. Seriously where did i imply that the UFC was sinister? If it was sinister would i buy their merchandise? Watch their events? Attend their Expo's? Get out of here with that Gestapo crap. Come back when you're ready to talk sense.
Well since the 1st four seasons basically all the fighters fall into one of these categorises Arrogant bad boy people love to hate Oddball joker who doesnt take life to seriously Loner who snitches and tries to play both sides off against each other and fails Perennial loser determined to take his last chance Likeable hero doing it for his family Forgettable journeyman And so on It's a formulaic and clinched as any tv show really. People need to relate to the guys so they are broken down into stereotypes. Im bored with it quite frankly
100% agree. If I didn't have to write about it I wouldn't watch it. That said I am looking forward to the next season if only for the fights the 145Ibs and 135Ibs will give us.
If you wanna get hung up on the 'sinister' part... meh. Doesn't change the fact that the OP-equivalent of UFC bashing calling people naive for not seeing their agenda is less than credible or objective.
The fact that you have to keep bringing up something that I haven't brought up for YEARS says a lot, doesn't it? Also, never carried his spit bucket, but nice touch. You haven't overused that line or anything. Don't be so butt hurt that I have stronger ties to the sport that you pretend to love so much. You're a joke, and everyone on here knows it except you.:smooch BTW, can you explain to me how I am a UFC "schill"? Especially since when I was talking about Coleman, he was in Pride.:rofl I was also the same guy on here who was saying that Strikeforce's show kicked the UFC show's ass when they went head to head not too far back. Clearly, showing my huge bias toward the UFC, which you say that I wouldn't let a bad word be said about. Because every now and then I agree with moves that they make, or don't agree with your ******ed warped logic? Because I agree that Fedor shouldn't be paid the crazy amounts of money that he is being paid, based off the fact that he has just been beat twice, dominated and these crazy contracts are why the other orgs keep falling? I would LOVE to hear you provide examples of my bias toward the UFC, that would be great to hear. Of course you can't do that, because it doesn't exist... so, you will continue to act like a 3rd grader and make up really original stories like carrying Coleman's spit bucket. If you were really a fan of MMA, you would be thankful that Zuffa is keeping their head above water and keeping MMA alive for all of us to enjoy. Yeah, it sucks that the other orgs keep going under, but at least we have an organization like the UFC that is going strong and providing us fans with the sport that we love.
