DO NOT STAND with Mauricio Shogun Rua. He has arguably the best striking in MMA history. He is not a poser. He is all substance with the occassional style. Every strike he throws is effective, efficient and devastating.

He is also a black belt in BJJ and he has a devastating game there. Usually it is used to allow him to damage guys via strikes but when you see his escapes, reversals, sweeps and the odd submission you will see how effective he is. He was more than happy to break Randlemans leg. Alot of guys hold subs but few are willing to lock them in the same way that Rua, Mir and Fedor do. These guys will go home with your limbs.

Wrestling is Jones best bet - not size or style or striking but wrestling! Through it he will get control but to control an animal like Rua for 5 rounds is a whole other story.

Jones' standup is VERY VERY overrated. Ryan Bader is a bum... He got beat by Lil Nog lets be honest! Lil Nog would beat Jones without a doubt, Rua is going to take Jones' head smooth off, Machida would counter Jones' sloppy work all night aswell!!
