Indeed. This is part of the reason I don't understand the hate Jones gets.

If Jones makes a mistake Henderson can knock him out If Jones does not time his jab with the proper step in he can get caught with the right over the jab. the perfect oponent to defeat Jones is a 205 lb Fedor type of fighter . Rua the kickboxer couldn't get his back leg kick off because Jones used a front kick to the thigh to stop it which totally messed up Ruas ability to set up his combionations gainst Machida his height and arm length helped him in the choke hold Right now thugh Jones is aquiring more skill all of the time andcould become the most dominant fighter ever.

A pretty fair summary. I see Jones on the improve and Hendo on the decline needing a lot of things to fall his way.

  4. Im actually liking the idea of sonnen jones. Though sonnen will look physical midget

Hendo wont beat jones theres better fights out there for him but hendo has deserved a shot and the fight probably generates a lot of interest

So far the best blue print anyone has on beating Jones is getting your head gashed then chocked out.

Hendo will be semi competitive for a round or two then its over.

I really think this adds weight to the notion that Jones struggles to make LHW. He is at the 'filling out' age now and his frame is massive. He deffo has an eye on moving up by 2013 I reckon.
