Interesting 2 of the judges had it same as me 19-19 and the other judge had it for Jones 20-18 after the 2nd round.

Dana pretty much shitting on Woodley "GSP is fighting Micheal Bisping, because I know Bisping will fight."
"You ask fans if they want to watch Woodley fight.I think that would be a flat out no.":meparto:

Whitaker is injured, so fine if he wants to keep Bisping active, but why not Weidman? He's just beaten Gastelum and with Whitaker being out and Romero and Jacare coming off losses this is probably the best fight that can be made in MW.

I mean yeah GSP deserves to walk back into a shot, I get that even if some disagree, but the problem I have is it then means Bisping has two non deserving defences in a row. Plus he'll have victories over a prime champion and 3 ATG fighters which kinda pisses me off a bit because history will remember him so much kinder than we do right now.

    It should be Romero

He's beaten Jacare, Weidman, put Bobby Knucks out for a year, and Bisping is terrified of him

I'm torn. Whilst he is certainly worthy, should people coming off a loss be given a title shot. Even Hendo won an interim fight xxx

Yeah. For that reason it should be Weidman.

Texting the Mrs at the same time lol hence the kisses haha.

But yeah for some reason Weidman beating Gastelum overrules Souza beating Weidman.

This is a some sort of joke, right?
Weidman is recently 1-3, including a knock out loss to Romero. Romero is 8-1 in the UFC, with a decision loss to Whittaker.

Weidman getting a title shot is an absolute joke. If the number 1 guy isn't ready you go with the number 2, which happens to be Romero atm. Simple.

No it's not. Romero is coming off a loss, and Weidman is coming off a win against a top contender. Even then.. Since you want to cite numbers... Why ignore the fact that Romero was lucky to get the nod against Souza, or that the fight with Weidman was competitive until the KO? Romero has hardly looked spectacular in his last 3 fights, certainly not enough for Weidman getting the shot being a "joke" as you so kindly put it.

The joke is Bisping/GSP... Nothing ridiculous about a former champion and top 5 contender getting another crack at the belt given the current circumstances in the division.

Where is that a rule? Last I heard there wasn't an eliminator for the title, the UFC can give whomever they want the shot. Weidman is coming off a great performance, Romero a loss. Nothing about Weidman getting a shot would be a "joke" That said either getting the shot is completely reasonable and preferable to GSP.

Wait wait wait...I was not being condescending. I did not know if you were being serious.
I see the sarcasm in that quote, didn't know if the other was real.

I believe in abiding by the rankings, what's the point of having them if they won't be used? While of course a Weidman title shot isn't close to the level of ridiculousness that fighting a 4 year inactive retired WW is, I still don't see it as being reasonable. The guy just snapped his terrible 3 fight KO loss streak against a good fighter ranked 8th in the division. He really should fight another top 6 opponent before getting a sniff at a title shot, a fight with Souza or rematches with Rockhold or even Silva is far more reasonable then letting him jump the queue to a titleshot. Romero's quality of performance/wins has been much better lately than Weidman and it doesn't make sense to give the guy he brutally KO'd not long ago a title shot over him.
