But Romero losing rules him out by default.

Who's the highest ranked MW coming off a win?

Does it? They gave Holly Holm a title shot coming off 2 straight losses.

Had Mousasi not bitched out and signed with Bellator none of this would be happening. I blame him.

Dana does what he wants, obviously. I'm just giving my opinion, I get I said it with conviction though.

I don't think anyone should come off a loss unless it's a renatch.

I do agree with that tbf. Just not sure how I feel about someone losing getting a title shot.

I don't think Jacare lost to Romero, but so be it. Jacare was still finished by Whittaker. Romero finished Weidman. Romero lost a decision to Whittaker. If Whittaker isn't fighting for the real belt, even though Whittaker just established himself the best in the division, Romero would be next in line.

Just finished rewatching the fights, not sure how 1 judge didn't even give Cormier 1 round and WOW Jones ****ed up Cormier bad at the end ,Big John should have saved him from some of that brutal GNP from Jones . The overhead footage after the fight showing Cormier stumble around after for couple of minutes has me wondering how this effects him in future fight that's if he even comes back.

No way Wiedman deserves a title shot yet but it honestly wouldn't have surprised me if UFC gave him the shot over GSP with the how they have handed out title shots last few years.

Jones needs to fight Stiopic. That is the only ufc guy who will light him up.

He wants a semi-retired pro wrestler instead.

Saw a couple of fights. Maia was fighting like a *****. They should get rid of the no hitting a guy when he's on his knees rules if fighters are going to abuse it like Maia did. He shoots then goes straight to his knees so the other guy can't do ****. That was bull****. That **** made the fight very ugly but Woodley never pressed on the gas either. To him, a victory is a victory. He's 35 and he's just where he's at because he takes care of himself better than a lot of guys in UFC who mostly look like a guy you would see at the bar.

Jones is getting older. Still talented but Cormier had some good sequences of landing glove on him. I think he buzzed Bone a couple of times too. Still need to see the other fights but I'm never impressed when I watch mma fighters at all.

Maia is a BJJ purist. He has NOTHING anywhere but the mat. Fighting like a *****? Hardly. As he was the guy moving forward most of the time and pressing the action. Woodley however just stayed on the backfoot exploding every 2 minutes or so and doing the bare minimum not to lose the rounds. Not to mention Woodley blatantly grabbed the fence TWICE to avoid being taken down, Herb should have docked a point. Woodley is known for his terrible fights.... Maia on the other hand only had a fight this bad against Shields who's also known for dull fights and a clowning Silva.

I don't think Jones has lost any steps... In fact he did some things better. Such as setting that high kick up. Jones threw high kicks quite regularly in the past but they were always easy to read and thus were almost always blocked by his opponent.
