Lyoto pre Shogun had a decent shot. I think Machida post Shogun gets brutalized. Will be rooting for him though. Always root for the underdog when the other guy looks so unbeatable

Jones will probably be willing to standing with him too - that could make for some crazy HL stuff

    Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrr Machiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidddddddaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe Dana is pushing the pace with the matchups for bones as his days at LHW are numbered? Jones is basically a skeleton and as he gets older I can't see how he makes 205. Maybe the plan is for him to clean out the division then go up to HW. Imagine how good a guy like Jones would be for the PR of the sport if he was HW champion.

this going to be an extremely boring affair

machida trying to counter and jones trying to stay on the outside

    jones takes it easy enough

What? Are you serious? When has jones ever 'tried to stay on the outside'? He is a finisher that strikes/shoots from great rang ebecause of his reach. Staying on th eoutside suggests that he is a pot shotter than tries to eek out points vicories. This is not the case.

    rampage????

he will be wary of machidas counters so i dont think we are gonna see him exploding in with knees and crazy ****, as great a striker as shogun is he does not possess the countering ability of machida

He countered machida pretty good in their second fight. And Jones finished a busted up rampage by RNC. I think you seem to be confusing 'staying on the outside' and 'not running in and deliberatley headbutting your opponants fist'

for the majority of that fight he was staying out of range, no need to post up gifs of the few times where they grappled, what anout the other 14 minutes you didnt post up

i hope machida can win this he's one of my favourite fighters of all time. He can win, however jon jones takedowns and unorthodox striking is going to be a huge problem for the dragon, machida needs to train on his takedown defense, elusiveness and train more bjj off his back skills, i think machida should recruit shogun, and velasquez to help him to beat jones, as cain velasquez has undoubtely one of the best takedowns, and shogun as very aggressive striking similar to jones besides from the use of elbow strikes i think this would together help machida in preparing for jones. With that being said tho jones is a freak and in mma anything can happen so i guess il just have to wait and see.
