matty to stop him in 5 i know his chin has not yet been tested but dont think JLD has got the power or speed to deal with askin

i think that alot of people are underestimating JLD in this one (maybe i am overating him) but i think he as underated skills and a variation to his work, he can box on the front foot but also counter punches well at this level, the longer this fight goes the better JLD does, im going against the grain here and see a tiring askin being outpointed by JLD after not being able to blast him out early:bbb

Both Dickinson brothers to get stoppage wins. JLD about 8 or 9. Travis inside 6

Speed? John is one of the fastest guys I've ever seen and trust me him and Travis are under reated hitters. Anyone who knows the amateur sceane well knows that.

I saw him sparring this tall black guy earlier on, called Mark Phillips or something after Bradley Saunders had been sparring Adil Anwar because they both came up to Birtley with Mark Bateson from Leeds. Only saw 1 or 2 rounds of Travis though because I was in a rush. He didn't seen back to 100% sharpness tbh but still looked good.

i think a problem people have with JLD is that they look at his record and think he has been stopped twice(not acual ko's) and he hasnt been knocking people out and getting a hype mahcine behind him. But this works in JLDs favour as he is underated and has very good boxing skills and despite his lack of fights he does fight like an experienced fighter (accurate, puts his shots together well and paces himself well). The askin fight was as predictable a fight id seen in years hyped young fighter with no plan b and the more experienced fighter ouboxing him with ease (JLD was only in 3rd gear and didnt need to put more behind his shots which he could of done).

billy nelson wil find this out only too soon when JLD puts a clinic on simmons :bbb
