    He beats them both

In his prime though, I think Destruction got it about right

Casa would have to really be past it to be troubled by these guys.

Casa would dismantle both of them on the same night in the same ring. Give Casa some respect.

I've obviously confused some people with thread, so I'll explain.

I asked 'would either of these fighters give the current version of Casa problems'.

Perhaps I was being too subtle for me own good, but that question implies that Casa would obviously win, and is obviously (more than) a couple of levels above Thaxton and Murray.

But styles make fights, its not inconceivable that their styles could give Casa problems, given that Casa is perhaps as badly faded as his worst critics suggest.

Michael Jennings could probably beat the version of DLH that fought Pac, that wouldn't make him the better fighter. Casa isn't far off that level of shotness, so I don't think its unrealistic, or disrespectful, or stupid, to suggest that Thaxon & Murray might cause Casa, circa 2009, some problems.

But to answer my own question, No. I don't think either would cause Casa problems, but neither would do a Gary Lockett either.

Both may give Casa some problems. But nothing that crafty old git couldn't deal with.

I think he had a legacy moment against Katsidis, and gave a good account of himself against JMM, but Casa's next fight may be one fight too many.

Compare the Casa from the first Chico fight, to the Casa who fought Marquez, there is a huge different, particular in terms of movement and punch output.

That said, Casa's style does lend itself to longevity, in a similar fashion as Hopkins'.
