Thaxton and Rawling had egg over their faces when they called the fight in favour of Dirrell. Buncey correctly called it in favour of Froch and then won the judges confirmed this, Thaxton and Rawling tried to backtrack lol

Thaxton doesnt work as a commentator, I agree. He is a good pundit. In fairness to Primetime they had to start everything from scratch with only 2 weeks to put everthing together. I am sure they will have learned a lot from last night. Thankfully we got to see this on tv, the live boxing was the important thing.

Not backtrack. Tried to explain how judges might have seen it different.
And they hardly had egg over faces when US TV, and 90 per cent of posters here had it for Dirrell. Buncye was in a minority

He was commentating as if he was at home watching it with his mates.

    "oh good, very good".
