Round 3

Guidry is mostly baiting Stiverne with tiny little baby jabs in multiples, churning the air in front of his own corpulent gut while circling his opponent. The veteran is countering with an extremely slow, lumbering left jab from his straight-up, slightly leaned away stance. Guidry rushes in and starts shredding Bermane's boobies again with some short hooks, and then claps a couple for good measure upside his massive unibraid. Stiverne is mad now, and starts stomping after Guidry, but still isn't exactly moving what I'd call "fast". Bunch of slow angry hooks from Stiverne, missing badly as Guidry ducks and evades with ease.

Listed officially as 5'11", but idk, there's way more than just three inches separating them.

 

Round 4

Guidry is poking jabs in bunches into the chin and sternum of Stiverne while jogging wide around him, occasionally following up with a tiptoed looping right on the closer left ear. Stiverne is trying for a plunging 1-2 to Guidry's belt line but can't make it stick. Hands of molasses, and he is telegraphing his every intended attack besides the speed issue.

Round 5

Guidry is keeping his right palm glued to his beard just in case, and flicking out weak left jabs to disrupt Stiverne's line of sight while constantly moving around him. Stiverne plays a little patty-cake with the shorter man, attempting to push down on his jabbing hand, but Guidry is able to yank it away in time and reposition. They are both jabbing from outside jab range and guess what? They're missing A LOT. Stiverne moves forward and whiplashes a few long body jabs while spreading his legs and turning sideways, and they still fall short.

10-9 Guidry, on the basis of maybe 3-4 body jabs having grazed for him. Virtually no connects on either side this round.

50-45 Guidry

 

Someone ought to make and sell t-shirts printed with the fight poster and "I was (virtually) there" on the back, just so we at least get souvenirs outta this.

Except not DKP. Never another dime for him.
