Guidry is taking a few steps, pressing in and jabbing Stiverne in the cleavage. Rinse & repeat. Stiverne is carrying his left arm swinging by his side, flipping up jabs from the hip to about where Guidry's own chest would be, yet never so much as grazing him. Guidry is mostly hitting glove or arm, but getting in at least some incidental contact tapping away, effectively paralyzing Stiverne with the smallest amount of movement. Wooly exchange at the bell, power thrown but neither man landing.

Guidry is letting the crowd get to him, you can see the gears turning as he begins to wonder if he can actually put his man away. Consequently he is lingering a bit too long in front of Stiverne and gets hit with a couple of lowered-drawbridge jabs. Hallelujah, some contact for Stiverne. Pyrrhic victory, however, as Guidry begins to whack him with flurries of hooks. Stiverne getting jaw-jacked, breathing heavily through his open mouth now. Body shots by Guidry now pressing in close, albeit with only twenty seconds left. Wild chopping right by Stiverne misses. Overhand right by Guidry lands. Jab and then another overhand right by Guidry land.

Remember how I brought up Tre'Sean Wiggins being ranked #28 in the United States of 399 active welterweights and said that was totally appropriate, implying that even some of the back end of the country's top 15 would destroy him, let alone names that he was calling out like Stanionis and Crawford?
