Dan that should be a good action packed fight.

    Round 3

Munoz is winning with his jab now, working it as a range finger and a lance. The body punching contest has been abandoned by both, as Munoz is more comfortable with his economical shot selection from long range and Mendez was getting whooped in there and is more content to take his chances outside. Munoz does best when he sticks with the jab, as his overhand right falls a bit short and takes him out of position - leaned forward with his head hanging out in the open. Mendez is throwing some hard chopping shots but not getting through cleanly. They lean back together and start throwing body shots and of course Munoz gets the better.

    30-27 Munoz

    Round 4

Munoz still jabbing; Mendez still awkwardly shuffling around and chopping away at him.

 Alright, well it was a 3rd stoppage for Marquez. I guess they didn't delay it. They showed it with out a live TV outlet. Alright, they are showing a replay of what happened. I'll give details on the first couple of rounds.

    Round 5

Munoz is bombing away like crazy with uppercuts, landing to both the chest and chin. Mendez is rolling with the chin shots pretty well as he jerks himself around but is showing a pretty good chin here. Munoz's stamina is crazy as he just unloads nonstop uppercuts.

    50-45 Munoz

First round, Marquez doing a nice job countering with power shots, a little left hook, uppercut combo bobbles the head of Dapudong. Dapudong, jabbing nicely though. Marquez coming back straight left. 10-9 Marquez.

    Round 6

Mendez has his arms low and tries to lure Munoz into a brawl by whipping him with long stinging shots from the hip. Mendez is landing well now with left and right combos. Munoz obliges him and starts to go to war! Both are landing good shots; Munoz's heavier and traveling in straighter lines and Mendez's faster and carrying a bit more zip as well as being a bit more plentiful. Good stuff! Both taking hard whacks to the face as they lean in, and the best part is that neither looks to clinch. Just toe to toe war!!!!

    I'll give that to Mendez.

    59-55 Munoz

The TYC Sports team had it close. :think

From what I saw Munoz did the better work until the last round, when he just got out hustled and dragged into Mendez's type of fight.

We'll see what the judges think. :conf

    It sounds like:

    Salvador Nunez 55-57 Munoz
    Judge #2 57-57 draw
    Gustavo Esteves 58-58 draw

Isn't that a majority draw? :huh

They announce Munoz as the points winner, anyway. That is the right call. It's shocking that it was so close, really.

Neither had much pop, which made their blistering exchanges in the 6th that much more fun. :thumbsup No backward steps. Just flat out aggression.

Dapudong, not having success in this round. Marquez lands a couple of hard lead right hooks. Digs to the body, left uppercut to the head. Daupdong answers with a couple of jabs. Straight left from Marquez. 20-18 Marquez. That's about the gist of it, and then next round is when Marquez puts Dapudong away.

OHHH! You know what a left hand by Marquez first hurt Dapudong! Then Marquez came in as Dapudong was backing up. Marquez then put him away with the right hand and boom big left hand! See you later! TKO3 Marquez.
